Kuan Xiang Zi

My friend took me out one Saturday, after the kids went to bed, to this great traditional/historical/tourist-y place!  I loved it!  Just everything about it was so fun and interesting.  I didn’t buy anything, but we did eat about any food we wanted (none of which I had ever eaten before that night).  So thankful for the friend and the experience (and my hubs for staying home so I could go)!

“Old” native style Starbucks. Pretty neat!

This is a hand made sucker! They are made from melted caramel and a brush!!

Appetizers – wide rice noodles (on left) and rice balls (on right). Both were pretty good!

We ate at the restaurant on the left. Pretty crowded – that’s a sign of good food :)

The gong they struck every time they made a rice ball (like the ones we had in the appetizers pictured above).

A really pretty place :)

The name of the place – in case I forget!

The entrance. It’s hard to miss huh?
