Baby Landon

We have another healthy nephew that we can be thankful for today!  Baby Grant Alexander Landon Curry was born last Friday, November 16th.  He’s a wee little guy – weighing in at only 6 pounds 14 ounces, but still a big bundle of joy to everyone.  Congrats Heath and Kelly!  Love you guys ~

Kylie Joy 16 Months – a little late

So this is a little late, but I just finished getting videos off of my camera.  Sweet little nugget is about 16 1/2 months now.  She is so happy – squeals, laughs, and smiles most of her life.  She is a lover and cuddler.  She especially loves babies.  So watch out baby brother!! I know she will be a good little helper though.  She is a great eater – loving both fruits and veggies – and she will eat pretty much anything you give her.  She doesn’t talk much, but she knows what I’m telling her (i.e. “go get your shoes, let’s brush your teeth, change your diaper, etc.).  She knows her body parts and says “uh huh” but just shakes her head for “no.” She says “uh-oh, book, socks, up, sky, bubba, mama, dadda, papaw, bite, more, Jack (Colt’s little friend), Babe (when we holler for daddy- ha), yay, hi, and bye” (to everyone and everything). . . and several animal noises. Seems like she says a lot when I type it out, but not in real life (maybe compared to Colt??) – haha. She also likes to talk on the phone and pick out her own bows which is usually the same one – blue/green/purple.  Now that her bangs are longer and in her eyes, she is always bringing me a bow to pull her hair back with.  It’s cute.  But it’s NOT CUTE, when she gets mad and throws something.  Nope, not at all.  So, she also knows what a spanking is (which she usually says “uh oh” when I say that word) and then has to pick up whatever she threw and bring it me.  After I “explain” to her that we don’t do that and say, “do you understand Kylie?” She ALWAYS says “uh huh” (and I can’t hold back a smile when she does that).  We love our little sissy! Thank you Father for her life ~

Miles Campout

3 of the 4 Miles boys (DJ, Daniel, David) and their families went camping a few weeks ago. We missed you Darin and Jody clan 🙂 The kids had a great time and did so well! The weather was perfect! I don’t think it ever really got “cold.” We made some yummy meals and enjoyed each other’s company – something we don’t often get to do because of distance!
