Romans 13:8-14 – Passage to Ponder

We had good today. David has been battling the flu bug of some sort. . . I hate it that he’s sick, but he’s so cute and “needy.” I love to be able to do more for him than he normally lets me do. He’s such a wonderful husband, and he has really missed his time with his little boy these past couple of days too while he’s trying not to expose Colt to whatever he has. We are trying not to get everyone in the house sick like we did last time he brought home that ‘ole cold. His fever broke last night though, and he is feeling some better today. The funny thing is, he won’t slow down or rest! He was outside blowing leaves and ladybugs off of the deck in the rain today!! You gotta love him though :-)

Colt is just as precious as ever! He’s so happy and smiles all the time. He jabbers all the time too. There are two things that are funny about the kid though – he is very jumpy. It doesn’t take much more than an unexpected change in tone to startle him. He’ll jump and get all wide-eyed, wondering whether or not it’s ok or he should start wailing :-) It’s very amusing. The other thing is how inquisitive Colt is. He studies EVERYthing. He doesn’t miss a beat with anything or anyone. I wonder what he will be like when he gets older??

This could be the face of the next US President! He looks like he’s giving an important speech anyways. . . if only we could understand him :-) Actually, I hope the Lord comes back before the next election!
