Not only is this a snippet of a little bit of our life, but you can also see all the life that is in our little one. I’m thinking last night he was a bit more lively (aka rowdy) than usual though. I’m attributing that to some Dr. Pepper that he received from the youth at chrch We took the teens out to a local milkshake shop last night after chrch and Colt spent some time at their table bumming food and drinks. . . Sweet Sydney told me she gave him a sip of her Dr. P since he was asking for one. haha. I told her it was totally ok and didn’t think it would affect him, but I think I was wrong! As you can probably tell.
It’s a regular Pete and Repeat show around here these days. Colt is keeping us on our toes and we are watching EVERYTHING we say more than usual – probably should be this careful all of the time actually . . Needless to say, we are enjoying this stage and are trying to make the most of every teaching minute. It’s hard though because we (atleast I) do get tired.
We’ve started doing devos with Colt at night. This is not because we think he understands the concepts, but because we feel it’s a good practice to start. We want him to know that the Father is and will be the center of this home. He’s picked up on the “prayer” and “amen” part though. But, he was pretty restless yesterday evening during this. So, it’s more for a keepsake video for us
Enjoy your week!
Aww..Haley, I love when you post videos on here. Colt is absolutely adorable! I think it’s a wonderful idea that you and David are already starting him with devotions. I want to start Addison with them as soon as I can. I just didn’t know when a good time would be AND she doesn’t sit still long enough for me to read to her! Also, I LOVE the mat you have for Colt. Um, where’d you get it? I still haven’t sent Colt his Birthday gift-sorry. I promise it’s coming. Love and miss you guys!
I tried to leave a comment earlier, but it wouldn’t let me. This is so cute though…so glad you are documenting his days at this young age. He is precious! Love you all!
