So, I stopped to save a turtle that was in the middle of the road yesterday because I had Colt and Sarah in the car. I thought they would enjoy that – not sure if I was really “saving” the turtle though. He may rather have been run over? Colt has been checking on it regularly. He was excited to see if it magically had a baby overnight when he went out to check on it this morning. haha. It has a nice little house, water, food, and plenty of love! Colt has been giving it swim lessons in the water table and even taking it for rides in the red wagon (as you will see in the video below). His/Her name is “Ina.” How can you tell if it’s a boy or girl??

What Are We Waiting For?
If we love Him, we will keep His Word. If we know Him, we will tell the world! Is His Word not enough. . ? Just a little of what has been on my mind lately. I realize that not everyone will “go” to another culture or country, but it’s so easy to get distracted here in America. Everything is so busy and so comfortable. Am I doing what has been commanded by my Savior? Am I living like I should and loving like He did? Remember David and the team in Belarus – last night was the first time he mentioned being tired. Pray for strength and that the Good News will be received by many!

Little Miss Cake Eater
Happy 1st Birthday Kylie Joy!
She is one today! This past year with her has really flown by, and it has been quite full of joy! Kylie has such a sweet disposition. She loves to cuddle. She loves to eat – most anything (except this transition to milk isn’t going so well). She runs all around, plays peek-a-boo, loves water, books, music, dogs, dolls, and Colt. She says “uh-oh” consistently with the occasional “mama,” “dadda,” “bubba” as well. She makes this dog barking sound when she sees a dog as well – but that is quite hard to explain – it really sounds nothing like a dog 🙂 Other than that she just jabbers all the time! She is 18 pounds 10 ounces and 28 3/4 inches. Such a cutie ~ We will do some cake eating later today – so maybe those pics will be up tomorrow. We love you Kylie, and are so thankful for the blessing you are to our lives!
Happy Birthday David!
"Music Park"
One of our local parks plays music on Sundays. So last Sunday we went out and enjoyed some really good bluegrass! Kylie was dancing (aka bouncing) all around. She really reacts to music and dogs. She got so excited pointing out every dog there – and there were lots! Colt enjoyed some cotton candy and stated he LOVED the “music park.” It was perfect weather, not too hot. . . So, we packed a picnic and relaxed for a few hours.
This last picture is actually on the side of our home. Â Our hydrangeas are out of control! Â So beautiful!! They are by far my favorite flower, and I have an endless supply for quite some time now. Â We have blue, purple, and pink. Â Colt helped me pick out the biggest ones to cut and put in vases for inside.
Bless the Lord
This song has been on my heart and lips lately. Â So thankful for the mighty, awesome, and good Father that we serve – He was, is, and always will be. . . the same forever. Â My world will change, but He will not. Â Amazing to have THAT Constant in my life. Â What a promise! Â He is worthy of our praise!
