Mrs. Miles is still battling morning sickness. She has had a bad day so far, throwing up multiple times. Please continue to remember her in your prayers and pray to the end that her sickness will soon be over. She likes to eat lettuce and cheese sandwiches – they seem to sit well on her stomach.
This morning I read her some various Psalms…
“Unto Thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. O my Father, I trust in Thee…Show me Thy ways, O Lord ; teach me Thy paths. Lead me in Thy truth, and teach me: for Thou art the Father of my Salvation.” – Psalm 25: 1-2, 4-5
nPoor little girl….it won’t be long now. Keep your chin up! We love you! The snow looks fun~
Hey David and Haley,
So glad to see you have blog…and wow what a surprise to hear the big news!! Haley…I had terrible morning sicknes…well all day sickness. There is nothing quite like it, but it does pass…eventually! I will certainly pray very hard that it will pass quickly. The only thing that remotely helped me was to eat a very small amount very often. The more hungry I allowed myself to be…the worse I felt. Sometimes…nothing helps, but that seemed to help the most! Oh…and long soaks in the tub!! All that said, I threw up all over half of the US while I was pregnant. Amazingly, you do get used to it somewhat Take it easy and don’t get discouraged! We will be praying!
Haley and David,
I can’t believe how precious the baby is. I’m terribly sorry that you’ve had such awful morning sickness. Hopefully, it will ease up soon. I’m sure that you’re miserable now, but it will all pay off in a few months. Are you two more eager to have him/her around since you’ve seen the ultrasound? Just wanted to tell you that I was thinking about you and your baby is beautiful-although it’s still in the womb. If you need anything, let me know! ~I’ll be praying for you. Love you guys!
Haley!!! Congrats! I’m so sorry that you are sick, I hope it goes away soon. It’s so good that your husband is taking good care of you. Hey, I’m going to have a baby too! I’m due July 1. I was sick all day for a month, so I can commiserate, it’s hard to be excited when it feels like you will be miserable and hate food for the rest of your life. I’m praying for you. Love, Heather Gort
