Well, Colt is one popular little man! He’s had lots and lots of visitors. . . unfortunately, he wasn’t awake for hardly any of them :-) (Which you will see in the pictures)
Colt David – doing what he does best right now, besides being adorable (sleeping)!

I know Colt will love Aunt B and Uncle Dale as much
as the rest of his cousins do! They are lifesavers!!

Cheryl and Carlye were with me when I took my first steps!

Colt with great (they are literally great too!) grandparents Papaw Gene and Mamaw Betty

Cousins Chloe and Malie with Colt and Sarah

Colt (4 days old) and cousin Sarah (3 months old). It’s hard to believe he’ll be that big before we know what happened! She’s lots of fun though – very alert, able to sit up with help, laughs and smiles all the time – part of me wants Colt to stay teeny but that will be a fun stage too!

Colt and Uncle Heathy :-)

Handsome little man just got home from the hospital in this picture. He slept the whole way (even during all of our struggles getting him into the carseat for the first time – you should have seen us! We should have practiced with a doll or something because it was something else!). Funny thing is, he came home on our 1 year anniversary (August 4 — who would’ve thought? I don’t think we could have even planned that!

Colt likes the bear that Joey and Jennifer got him. It’s super soft! Wish it was big enough for me!

Colt and Papaw Randy. Grandpa Donnie and Grandma Trudy were here this week. They had to leave this morning though. I don’t have any pics of them and the little guy uploaded yet (they must be on the other camera), but they spent lots of time with him and just showered him with hugs, kisses and lovins! He loves his grandparents!

This is my baby picture. I’ll have to get one of David on here too. He’s really a good mix of both of us. It would be a better picture if he would open his eyes and pose for us :-) Since neither my sweety nor I look like our baby pics we couldn’t tell who he looked like – until we pulled them out. He’s definitely ours!

  1. Colt is adorable!! He’s so cute. Thanks for posting the pictures regularly so we can all “keep up” with his first days. We love you, Aunt Janet, Uncle Joey, the J cousins and families
