Colt is really enjoying the mirror these days. We can’t even pass a mirror without stopping to smile and talk The mirror in these pics was one of those ones that hang over the door, but he pulled it right off! I guess he was really happy to see his buddy (his reflection) that day! Don’t worry. . . no one was hurt!
We’ve been here in Wake Forest for 3 weeks now. It’s really flown by! David is doing well and enjoying his seminary classes. He’s very disciplined in his studies. It seems I’m going to have to beef up my studying skills as well! I just received my confirmation for the NCLEX (nursing boards) in the mail on Thursday. I must say that my stomach dropped out when I read that letter. Yes, I knew it was coming and have actually been waiting for it. I guess I have finished all the “hard” work of nursing school and clinicals, but this is the next big step! This is going to make everything REAL!! Sometimes I don’t feel competent or confident, but the Lord has given me the desire to take my nursing overseas and has enabled me to receive the training to do so (thus far). “He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it,” right? I’m scheduled to take the test mid-February. . . so I’d appreciate your prayers as I continue to prepare. I really don’t want to fail (I mean, who would?) since you have to wait 45 days for retakes, it costs $265 dollars, and we really need the income! YET, the Father is in control and He already knows!
Sweet pictures of our little buddy! Thanks so much! We’re praying as you take your boards….you’ll do great! We’re so proud of you! Love you!
