Some friends invited us to go see the beautiful spring flowers and also go to a village home for a meal. It was a lovely day and the flowers really were beautiful! The meal was quite fun too! We got to pick out a live chicken and duck, and the kids found it quite fascinating to watch the entire process of catching it to cooking it and on to the table. Needless to say, it was quite educational. We had chicken soup (the whole chicken – nothing wasted), stir fried duck and and an egg dish. It was yummy by the way!
The blossoms are beautiful. Is it Spring time there? Caden is either going to have to grow some more or start hanging out with smaller dogs! Colt looked like Jed Clampett driving the tractor. One of the things that amazes me is that your kids can watch a chicken be killed, cut up and cooked and it doesn’t bother their appetite! Love and prayers for all.
What a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Love to all, Dad and Mom
Glad it’s a Spring time there. We’re still waiting on Spring weather here. Love the pics.
Love the pics of you all and trees in bloom,my favorite time of year. Glad the chicken is fresh and not hanging in the marketplace!haha
