We took a mini family vacation this weekend to Atlantic Beach, about 3 hours away. I had a nursing conference at the Sheraton right there on the beach – doesn’t that spell family time (and not work time) to you?
Colt LOVED the water. He was talking about the ocean before he knew what the ocean was just from us telling him where we were going 
Very cute. I had high aspirations of family pics but we left the tripod in the car AND Colt fell down in the ocean water the second the waves crossed his little feet. “So much for that outfit and the cute pictures” I thought! But, my wonderful hubby talked me into believing the world was still a good place. . . and he was right. I’m pleased with all the memories we captured!

Haley, Bring Colt’s beach outfits down tomorrow and try again….it’s windy here but beautiful! We’re looking forward to seeing Colt & Jakob get to know each other again. As usual, Nana, Granny Debbie and I are hoarse from laughing. We’ll try to hold it down while the little ‘men’ sleep. We’re planning on a day trip to the Battery today. Come on down>>>>>>
