We took a trip to DC last week! It was part of our training, and our goal was to have “intentional conversations.” I must say, at this stage in life with 3 littles under 5 years old. . . I probably wouldn’t have chosen this strategy We were able to have some good conversations, gain experience in riding the metro, walk amongst the crowds, and find all of the bathrooms in DC! Colt had been asking to go to “the museum” ALL day, so we saved time to visit the Smithsonian for about an hour before we had to leave. There definitely is lots to see and do there which would warrant a trip again – maybe in 5 years? Next time I would like to hit the kids museum, the zoo, and a few of the other tourist spots
