Colt’s school held a fun little fall campout last Friday for the whole school (the whole school consists of kindergarten through 3rd grade this year and is adding a grade each year as it grows). So I packed up our camping gear, fun costumes for the kiddos, a pumpkin to carve, and some food to share! I noticed I had a bit of a headache after teaching English at Kylie and Caden’s school that morning so I wasn’t feeling the best. As the day went on. . . it only got worse. We ended up at the campsite with the festivities in full swing and me (Haley) in the back with diarrhea and vomiting. Awesome timing. David offered to get me a taxi home (we don’t have a car), but I honestly thought that long ride home would be much worse than just crashing in the tent.
So, all these pics are courtesy of friends and other parents. I was so sad to miss such a fun activity and opportunity to get to know people better. . . but thankfully, I slept well and was better the next morning
Like I have said before. The schools there are amazing. I can’t imagine our local school being able to pull off a camping trip. You and David are a blessing to those people and those of us here who read your posts. Prayers for the family.
Sweet times to share as the children are growing up! Thankful!
