Kylie’s school is asking parents to come teach the kids about what they do. . . since they knew I was a nurse in the States, they asked me to come teach the kids about keeping their teeth clean(?). I don’t really think nursing specializes in teeth cleaning, but I can handle talking to 3-4 year olds about cleaning their teeth:)
It was actually really neat, because a dentist from my home town in Alum Creek sent a ton of toothbrushes to give away. This would be a perfect opportunity for that, right? Thank you Dr. Buffington!!
They also wanted me to teach some English. It was fun! I liked to be there and get to know the teachers and the kids. I’m hoping to get my foot in the door so that we can build relationships, and when opportunities arise to share we are there and ready!
First of all, tell Kylie that she looked very pretty in her dress and sassy sandals. I found it funny while looking at the pictures, there was one little boy in a purple shirt that said “Caught Speeding” in English. The classrooms there always look so bright and inviting.
Haley, you’re a natural teacher. I can see Kylie following in your footsteps. All the children are so cute.
So many precious little ones…..
These are such wonderful pictures! I love the one where you are standing beside Kylie and she looks so proud to be holding that poster. You look so beautiful and all the children are darling! Hopefully doors are being opened to share! Love you!
