Fun at the Great Grans!

We spent this past Sunday and Monday with Gpa and Gma Haas. It was enjoyable for all of us, but Colt REALLY had a good time!

He had fun inspecting and learning about the garden. . . even tried some fresh broccoli!

He wore Daddy out wanting to swing. . . “Higher HIGHER!!” I wonder if we have a good place for a tire swing in our backyard?

Kylie was sweet as can be too. Automatically warmed up to her great grans :-)

Poor precious. . . I mean, Colt really loved on Precious. Probably as much as she could stand. She was so good with him though. If we could find a calm chihuahua that didn’t bark or bite. . . you know a perfect and rare one like Precious, we wouldn’t mind having one of those either (since they don’t shed)!

Colt drank some hot chocolate to warm up. . . right out of the big boy mug. He’s big stuff now.

Gma always has fresh flowers everywhere – even in our room :-) They were beautiful!

Colt even got to help Gpa bring in the eggs Monday morning! That was neat too.

Since we missed the snow in Wake Forest while we were in Goldsboro :-) haha

Mama T, Colt spotted you in the picture while he was eating in front of the fire:-) Very observant. He knows his Grandma anywhere! He said, “I see my Grandma!!!”

Completely tuckered out. . .right after a tummy full of raclette!
Thanks for having us Grandpa and Grandma Haas! We love you guys so much!

  1. just got to see the pictures you took, Haley..while you were here. Trudy told us they were on your post.
Thanks for coming…it was truly a time of “refreshing” fellowship that grandpa and I needed from our “grands and greats”!!! Thanks for all your love and help to us.Please tell David that grandpa is beyond joy…for we have lived her since 1987 and he has tried and tried to put up bird houses, etc. to attract BLUE BIRDS!!! WELL, QUESS WHAT…THE ONE BY THE FRUIT TREES THAT DAVID PUT UP HAS ATTRACTED THE MALE (HE ALWAYS COME FIRST TO SEE IF THE MADAME WILL BE HAPPY)…SHE IS AND THEY (WE BELIVED) ARE BUILDING THEIR NEST TOGETHER!!! Is n’t that the sweetest thing? No, really your visit was SWEETER!! Come and again…the chickens are always here, the “swing”..the garden and also “sweet Precious” is waiting for you Colt!!!!! love you all so much and our prayers are with you many times in the day…grandpa and grandma Haas
