My my my. . . I’m having a very hard time posting here in EA! I’m thankful for our internet after 1 month without it, but I haven’t been able to upload any videos. Actually it took about 2 days for these 3 pictures to finally upload. Hoping it will get better!! I want this be a source of memories for our family, as well as keeping you guys updated! But I refuse to let it be a source of frustration :) I also am finding that I am exhausted by 7:30pm when we put the kids down (which is preventing any type of posting on here). I don’t know if it’s all the walking (while carrying Caden), or if it’s more mental exhaustion making sure the kids stay safe with all the crazy bikes and scooters on the sidewalks :) I KNOW it’s part language and culture demands that drain us. But just think where we will be as far as that goes in 2 years!! That is exciting for me! Or it could be all the cooking from scratch everything and washing it and putting it away. . . I’m learning a lot, and David has been a HUGE help! I thought I cooked healthy and stayed away from processed or box mixes/cans before. . . but I guess not.  This past week I made homemade tortillas, tortillas chips and salsa. I also went to the market and bought a whole chicken and make chicken stock for soups as it gets cooler. Somehow I successfully told the meat guy at the market that morning to cut off the head and feet and take out the insides (he left the kidneys though?). It was still gross to me though. Colt was super excited about the chicken legs when it was cooked through, and he ate them both after school! Here are some pictures of more “fun food” we saw at an import store :)

Rotisserie turtle anyone?? Packaged EXACTLY like the rotisserie chickens in the States :)

Squid and other seafoods
Baby Octopus? Yum! Actually I’ve never had it, but my brother and David tried it once in NC :)
