I love these pictures because of the sheer joy on Colt’s expressions! He’s a lot of fun – and these days he says the funniest stuff. You will have to check out his blog on my sidebar. I try to post some of the funny things he says or does because he will NEED to know that when he grows up and has little ones of his own, right? 🙂
He’s 3. She’s 2 months.
He always wants me to be “Mary” and Kylie to be “Baby Jesus.” He loves her. Surprisingly, she smiles at him a lot and doesn’t seem to mind when he kisses her eyeballs. 
Colt’s New Track
Here is what Colt bought with his birthday money! I had bought the train table and some track for $40 off of craigslist a while back, but was missing a few pieces and couldn’t make a decent track. . . . soooo, I found this COMPLETE set for $20 (also on CL), and now Colt has a track with all the works that he doesn’t stop playing with PLUS tons of extra for different set ups. He’s pretty excited ~

Look A Likes. .
The first 3 pics are of Colt around 7 weeks and the last 3 are Kylie around 7 weeks. I definitely see some similarities (namely the hair and color?). 
7 weeks
I’m doing a photo shoot tomorrow of a baby who is the same age as Kylie. . . so of course I had to practice (wink). Colt was right there with his camera too. He’s trip (and she’s a sweetheart).
My little boy is 3!
Colt turned 3 yesterday – August 2nd (he would tell you). David’s parents had kept Colt over the weekend while we flew out to Denver for a wedding. We met them and picked him up on his birthday. Mama T was so good to have all the fixins for a little party and also made him a scrumptious cookie cake!
We cannot believe how quickly time has flown by!! It seems like just a few weeks ago that he came into this world, but really his baby sister did! Colt has got to be one of the coolest kids ever (who’s to say I’m not biased?). He’s so full of life, hilarious, active, smart, cute as a button, sweet, 1,000% boy . . . and did I mention hilarious? He definitely has a strong will and leadership abilities – looking forward to seeing what the future holds. I pray he becomes a man after the Father’s own heart, following Him all the days of his life.
6 weeks old
Kylie Joy is 6 weeks old today! Hard to believe. . . She started smiling and cooing last week 🙂 Pretty precious – and she sleeps a good 5-6 hour stretch each night now too! Just when I thought I was going to be crazy from sleep deprivation (the Father knew).
Colt is doing awesome with her too! He’s been super sweet and affectionate lately. She DEFINITELY notices her brother – thankfully she doesn’t cry when he’s coming (yet). He may be a little loud, in her face, and MAYBE a tad rough with rubbing her head and his kisses on her eyeballs (he’s almost 3 though so we have to give him a little slack). He will be 3 next week!!
