Colt’s Preschool Graduation Day!

Colt’s End of the Year Ceremony was yesterday. He was in the Ladybug Class (hence all the “ladybug” themed songs/poems in the program).  It was cute. . . I included most of it on the video at the end of this post.  He was full of energy that’s for sure! ha!  He received the awards of “Friendship” and “Good Manners.”  We are proud and thankful parents of such a smart, happy, and healthy little guy!

Soooo thankful for my mom flying to Arkansas to keep Baby Cade while David and I attend some meetings, AND Mama T and Daddy D keeping Colt and Kylie for us! We have the best parents/these kids have the best grandparents ever!

Muffins With Mom – Mother’s Day 2013

I was able to go BY MYSELF (watch out. . . that NEVER happens when you have 3 kids) to Colt’s special “Muffins with Mom” day at his preschool. So, I guess I technically wasn’t by myself. That    
wasn’t the point though. The point was that I was 1-on-1 with my big little boy! Loved every second of it too!! Here are some cute things he made for me:

 
This video makes me want to shed a little tear. I loves all my babies, but Colt is just growing up WAAAY to fast. I told him to stop growing, and he responded, “But Mom, I’m SUPPOSED to grow up. That’s why you make me eat healthy foods!” hahaha. Ok. Maybe.
 

Caden 3 Months!

Caden is such a sweet and contented baby!! He loves to smile and talk. . . usually he will just lay there with the chaos around him, but the second someone stops to talk to him out comes the smiles and coos!!  He makes my little heart melt.  He likes to be held and is a little snuggler. . . but that ok because I love to hold him and snuggle with him.  

He is also a healthy big boy!  I think we skipped size 2 in diapers and went straight to size 3 🙂 His rolls are out of control! haha.

So, the kids were cracking me up the other day.  Kylie has started to want to wear Colt’s socks.  Of course they are HUGE on her, but it’s fine with me 🙂  And Colt has been playing with the tape measurer.  He has measured a ton of stuff in this house.  Actually, today he came up and said, “Mom! I found something 9 inches in that room!” Super excited about it of course.  

We are busy getting ready for this next phase in our lives.  Packing and selling.  What fun!!

Happy Birthday Mama T!

So thankful for the family I married into – really, I love all of my Miles Family. . . especially my wonderful mother-in-law.  I don’t know that everyone can say that about their mother-in-law 🙂  But Mama T has always been a joy to be around.  She fun, hilarious, loving, kind, a great cook, and super hospitable.  She is a helper with a sweet servant’s heart.  Her joy and laughter is contagious!

We all love you so much Mama T!  You are a wonderful mom and grandma! Thanks for all you have done for our family. . .
